Born 1981 in Louisiana
Studying with New York Institute Of Photography.

Born and raised in Louisiana and having many jobs from construction, working for an oil company, vitamins and minerals, I always felt like something was missing. In 2004 I joined the U.S.Army and changed my life. I was moved to Ft. Lewis, Washington and served one 15 month tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom. After an Honorable Discharge in 2008, I was a mechanic until the end of 2012. during the course of my military career I was blessed with 2 precious boys, Arakai, and Dekland. Although the first marriage did not make it, in 2011 I began a long dream of photography. In 2012 I met a lovely woman and we are now engaged to be married and I now live with Sandra in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
Growing up, I always loved to take pictures. I remember when I was around 10 or 11, my Dad gave me a roll of film from Seattle FilmWorks. It was a mail order photographic film processing company that sold re-spooled 35mm motion picture film. When you sent the film in to be developed they would send you a free roll for every one you returned and paid for developing. I had a cheap point and shoot camera but I would take roll after roll. The film was superior quality to any other and could not be developed at a regular facility. I loved it though. Around 18 I bought a Nikon N65 35mm film camera. I went crazy. I took roll after roll. It was expensive and so I could not take as much as I wanted. I dreamed of being a professional but I think the expenses kind of discouraged me. When I joined the Army I kind of let the dream go and was distracted. In 2011 I decided to give it a try and bought my current Nikon D3100. Now I can not stop. I love taking photos. To me when you take a photo of someone it is like you can almost see their soul. See through their eyes a glimps of what lies within. A photo is a captured memory of something beautiful you have seen. A forever memory of what you saw and how you saw it. I do not have any 1 particular thing that inspires me. I love art in all forms so I shoot whatever I am feeling at that time. I will say this that my main encouragement and motive comes from the loving and continuing support of my Fiance, Sandra. She has brought new inspiration and encouragement to me. It is all about not taking this world we live in for granted. We as a whole can get so busy and lose focus on the simple things around us. A leaf on the ground, a raindrop on our arm, a bug on the railing, these are all things we pass up and ignore every day. But all those things either have life or contain life. You show a photo of these same things and people will look and see the beauty. That is what I love! Showing the beauty around us that would otherwise get bypassed in todays fast go-go-go hurry- hurry-hurry world. That is what inspires me!
